¶1The Bail Cancellation Application has been filed seeking cancellation of bail granted to the accused-Harpreet Kaur on

10.02.2023.

¶2The main contention of the counsel for the applicant is that the bail was obtained by filing a wrong affidavit and a matrimonial dispute is going on between the accused and her husband which according to the applicant is an incorrect fact. It is also argued that the bail was obtained by the accused by stating that she has nothing to do with the allegations. It is fairly well settled that the cancellation of the bail operates on different material altogether.

¶3There is no averment that after the enlargement on bail, the accused has misused the liberty or in any way affecting the trial.

¶4In view of the above, I do no see any good ground for cancellation of bail.

¶5The bail cancellation application is hereby dismissed.
