¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned AGA for the State.

2.The present 482 Cr.P.C. application has been filed to decide the Criminal Case No.877 of 2018 (State of U.P. vs. Vikrant Kushwaha and others) arising out of Case Crime No.0076 of 2016, under sections 498A, 323, 504, 506, 406 I.P.C. & Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Agra.

¶3Instant 482 Cr.P.C. application has been filed by applicants who are accused in the case with the direction that trial court be directed to decide the aforesaid case within stipulated period. On perusal of record and order-sheet annexed with the affidavit, it is apparent that the applicants/accused persons often moved exemption application and not participated in the proceeding fairly and he has filed application to expedite the trial.

¶5Per contra, learned A.G.A. vehemently opposed the contention of learned counsel for the applicants.

¶6The 482 Cr.P.C. application is misconceived. No interference is warranted. The present 482 application is dismissed with the aforesaid observations. Order Date :- 30.10.2023 SKD High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
