The petitioners who were an ex-army personnel came to be appointed as Gram Panchayat Adhikari and posted on 2nd February, 2017 at Development Block, Kayamganj, Samsabad and Srajepur, claim for consideration of their previous service rendered in Indian Army between 27.12.1995 to 30th November, 2013, 21.04.1995 to 30.11.2013 and 16.08.1999 to 30.11.2014 for the purpose of benefit under the Assured Progression Scheme. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the above regard, petitioners have made representation before the authority on 22nd April, 2023 sent by registered post but till date no order has been passed. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that petitioners want disposal of their pending representation by the authority within stipulated period of time as may be prescribed by this Court. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the above prayer. In view of above, the writ petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent concerned/ competent authority in the matter to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioners raised in their representation dated 22nd April, 2023 and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
