¶1Heard Sri Kuldeep Mishra (petitioner) in person.

¶2By means of this petition the petitioner has prayed for direction restraining the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh from collecting the impugned fees from the petitioner and directing the respondents to enroll him on the roll charging fees as mandated by the Advocates Act, 1961.

¶3Sri Ashok Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh has placed the order dated 17.7.2022 passed by Hon'ble Apex Court in Transfer Petition (Civil) No.1310-1312 of 2023 (Bar Council of India vs. Akshai M Sivan and ors etc.) wherein the Bar Council of India had prayed for transfer of various matters pertaining to the enrollment fees, which are charged by various State Bar Councils, which are pending consideration in different High Courts and Hon'ble Apex Court has also directed for transfer of all the matters to the Apex Court.

¶4The petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed so that he may press the relief before Hon'ble Supreme Court.
