¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to release payment of Rs. 12,48,01,874/- to the petitioner in a time-bound manner as per Clause 1.6 of the Agreement dated 25.4.2018.

¶2Sri Rajeev Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, is in receipt of written instructions from the respondents, according to which a Committee has been constituted to examine the claim of the petitioner. He states that as soon as the report of the Committee is received, the respondents will take decision in respect of the claim of the petitioner.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner, having regard to the aforesaid stand of the respondents, prays for withdrawal of the writ petition at this stage.
