¶1Sri Panaj Dwivedi, Advocate has filed vakalatnama on behalf of respondent, which is taken on record.

¶2Heard Shri Vipin Chandra Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Pankaj Dwivedi, learned counsel for the respondent, Sri Vivek Kumar Shukla, learned AGA for the State respondents and perused the records.

¶3This writ petition has been filed praying to quash the first information report dated 25.05.2023, registered as Case Crime No. 0357 of 2023, under sections 498-A, 323, 504 IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Sikandara, District Agra and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of impugned First Information Report.

¶4Learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents submits that charge-sheet No. 501 of 2023 has been submitted on 04.10.2023 against the petitioner no. 1 and 2, who are husband and mother-in-law and other four co-accused persons i.e. petitioner nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been exonerated and as such, the cause for filing present writ petition no more survives.
