¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2Aggrieved by an order of attachment passed by respondent no.2, District Magistrate, under Section 14(1) of the U.P. Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, petitioner is alleged to have been filed an application under Section 15 of the Act which is pending for consideration before the District Magistrate, respondent No.2, since 29.08.2023.

¶3Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent, District Magistrate (Ghazipur), to dispose of the representation/application filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
