¶1The grievance of the petitioners in the present petition is that the total amount incurred by the petitioners for certain construction work awarded by the Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited is not being paid to the petitioners and the balance amount stated in the writ petition is Rs.13,05,530/-. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted a representation before Executive Engineer, Electricity Civil Division (Distribution), Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, 57-George Town, Prayagraj i.e. the respondent no. 5.

¶2It would serve no useful purpose to keep the writ petition pending.

¶3This writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Chief Engineer, Electricity Civil Distribution, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Varanasi, i.e. the respondent no. 4 that in case the petitioners file a representation before the respondent no. 4 within a period of 15 days from today, the said representation shall be decided by the respondent no. 4 and appropriate order shall be passed by him within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation before him.
