¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed with a prayer to direct the Metropolitan Magistrate-II, (MM-II), Kanpur Nagar to decide Case No. 08 of 2014 (Jyoti Gupta Vs. Sanjay Gupta), under Section 12 of the Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, P.S. Chakeri, District-Kanpur Nagar within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that applicant is the wife of opposite party No. 2 and she had filed an application under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act on 2.1.2014, on the basis of which, the instant case has been instituted and the said case is pending disposal and has has not yet been concluded and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of the above, learned Metropolitan Magistrate-II, (MM-II), Kanpur Nagar is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
