¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Uttara Bahuguna, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2In pith and substance, the grievance of the petitioner is that present village Pradhan is obstructing the petitioner from carrying out fisheries activity in the pond allotted to him on lease by taking out all the fish of the pond, taking out the water of the pond and also demolishing the fencing wall constructed around the pond. In this regard, the petitioner has filed application dated 8.8.2023, which is still pending.

¶3Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that in case petitioner's application is still pending, the same would definitely be looked into and decided by the concerned authority within the time as fixed by this Court.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstance, without adverting any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the writ petitioner directing the Chief Development Officer, Kaushambi to consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 8.8.2023 as per law, expeditiously within four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
