¶1The present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner for a direction commanding the respondent authorities specially respondent no.2 and 3 conclude the enquiry against respondents no.5 and 8 according to irregularities and corruption during consolidation in Village Gadaur, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Prayagraj and also stop the consolidation proceeding till the enquiry against respondents no.5 to 8 in Village Gadaur, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Prayagraj.

¶2Learned Standing Counsel has raised an objection regarding maintainability of writ petition on the ground that the disputed question of facts are involved in this matter, which cannot be adjudicated in writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

¶3After substantial arguments once the Court has declined to entertain the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that he is not inclined to press this writ petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed.
