¶1As to the grievance of the petitioner that the passport is not being issued to him, Sri Ankur Goyal, learned counsel appearing for the Union of India has placed on record copy of the communication/notice dated 25 April, 2023 issued to the petitioner.

¶2Copy of the same has been made over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶3Accordingly, since the matter is engaging the attention of the original authority, the writ petition is disposed of with direction that in case the petitioner furnish his reply to the above communication within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent authority shall apply its mind to the same and take a reasoned decision within a further period of one month thereafter.
