¶1Grievance of the petitioner is that the boundary wall of the house of the petitioner has been demolished by the Nagar Nigam without affording any opportunity to him. Now, the Nagar Nigam is threatening to demolish the house of the petitioner constructed by him. He submits that the house in question was purchased by the petitioner vide registered sale deed dated 18.06.2019 as per rules and his property cannot be demolished. He further submits that he has already filed a representation on 25.09.2023 before the authorities concerned and direction may be issued to the authorities concerned to decide his representation, and till the representation is decided, his property may not be demolished.

¶2Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that before taking any action against the petitioner, the authority may decide the representation of the petitioner and, thereafter, pass appropriate order.

¶3Till three weeks from today or till the decision on the representation, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
