¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below to decide the Criminal Case No.2142 of 2015 (State Vs. Ravi and others) Case Crime No.52 of 2014, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C., P.S. Badalpur, District Gautam Budh Nagar.

¶3Counsel for the applicants submits that applicants are accused persons and charges were framed on 31.08.2016 under the aforesaid sections. Since then no witness has been produced by the prosecution and case is pending since last eight years.

¶4Considering the aforesaid facts, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
