¶1The petitioners have prayed for a direction to the respondents to award compensation to them at the market value of the land which they have utilized in construction of a bypass road.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in relation to adjoining tenure holders whose lands were affected by the construction of same bypass road, this Court has passed an order dated 03.10.2023 in Writ-C No. 16331 of 2023, Tej Prakash Shukla and 14 others vs. State of U.P. and 3 others, permitting the petitioners therein to make representation before District Level Committee so that it is decided in terms of Government Order dated 12.05.2016.

¶3Counsel for the parties submit that the instant petition may also be disposed of in same terms.

¶4Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make fresh representations along with documentary evidence in support of their respective claims before respondent no. 3 within two weeks from today. On receipt of the representations, respondent no. 3 will forward the same to the committee for decision in accordance with law within next eight weeks, after hearing the parties.
