By means of this application, the applicants have prayed for quashing of the order dated 19.8.2023 passed by the Additional Civil Judge (JD)/JM Kasia whereby application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C moved by opposite party No. 2 has been allowed directing the police to lodge the first information report against the applicant. It is pointed out that during pendency of this application, the order dated 19.8.2023 has been given effect to and FIR has been lodged against the applicant and, therefore, cause of this application has lost its efÏcacy. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the applicants at the Bar, the instant application is dismissed as having become infructuous.
