¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

¶2The applicant has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to direct court below to conclude the trial of case no. 29 of 2023, Meha Singh Vs. Siddharth Singh, u/s 125 Cr.P.C., P.S. Sarnath, District Varanasi, pending in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court Varanasi, within the stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is wife of O.P. No.2 and she has filed an application dt. 7.1.2023 for grant of maintenance under section 125 Cr.P.C., on the basis of which the present case has been instituted, however, the same is pending disposal and has not yet been disposed of and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of above, court below is expected to make all endeavour to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously preferably within a period of four months after giving opportunity of hearing to both the sides and without giving unnecessary adjournments to either side and there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
