¶1Supplementary affidavit filed by learned counsel for the petitioners and same is taken on record.

¶2Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

¶3The present petition has been filed for the following relief: "i) issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the application under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within stipulated time of two months;

ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to monitor the demarcation of boundaries of the petitioners plot no. 302, 304, 305, 309 and 309/617 of village Bhat, Tehsil Bhadohi, District-Bhadohi and ensure the demarcation on the spot of aforesaid plots numbers in light of application Annexure No. 3 to the writ petition. "

¶4Learned counsel for the petitioner states the aforesaid case is pending since 2018 before respondent No. 3 for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously.

¶5No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending.

¶6Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No. 3 Assistant Collector/ Sub Divisional Officer (Up-Ziladhikari, Bhadohi), District-Bhadohi to consider and decide the aforementioned case, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided that there is no other legal impediment.
