¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for writ of mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to decide the compensation payable to the petitioners for having utilized their land for construction of Belwa Bridge over Gomati river.

¶2The case of the petitioners is that the respondents have constructed the bridge, without paying compensation to the farmers, whose land were utilized for construction of the bridge.

¶3Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Prateek Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.5 submit that the claim of the petitioners has to be considered and decided by the Committee in terms of Government Order dated 12.05.2016.

¶4Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make fresh representation before respondent no.2 along with true attested copy of the instant order. Respondent no. 2 will place the representation before District Level Committee for being decided in terms of Government Order dated
