¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to release proper amount of compensation in favour of the petitioner and decide his application dated 27.07.2023 by a speaking order.

¶2Undisputedly, the petitioner has received Rs. 22307/- as compensation on 07.01.2022. He has not disclosed anywhere in the writ petition as to how he is entitled to any higher amount as compensation.

¶3Therefore, we decline to issue any mandamus. However, we leave it open to the petitioner to approach respondent no.2 with a fresh representation specifying therein how the amount already paid to him is not in consonance with the award and in which event the representation filed by the petitioner shall be decided by the concerned respondents, in accordance with law.
