Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. Petitioners, who are working as Assistant Professors in U.P. University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah claimed for payment of salary in the Pay-band of Rs. 15600-39100 in the grade pay of Rs. 8000/- from the date they have been appointed and given joining. In the above regard petitioners have approached the authority vide representation dated 28.07.2020 and 21.10.2023, copy whereof has been brought on record as Annexure No. 5 to the writ petition. Learned Counsel for the University Sri Rohit Pandey as well as learned Standing Counsel submit that respondent no. 3 is the competent authority in the matter to take decision and they do not have any objection to the above prayer for consideration of representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 3 shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in their representations dated 28.07.2022 and

21.10.2023 and decide the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add that the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
