¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record.

¶2The basic relief sought by the petitioners in the present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is to direct the court below i.e., Judge Small Cause, Varanasi to decide the SCC Suit No. 69 of 2014 (Sankatha Prasad Singh vs. Bachaoo Lal & others), expeditiously.

¶3It is argued that other side has already been put up his appearance in the matter on the most of the dates fixed before the court below.

¶4It reveals from perusal of the record that till date no written statement has been filed by the other side.

¶5In this view of the matter and also in the interest of justice that the matter is pending consideration since 2014, the present petition is disposed of finally directing the court concerned to decide the aforesaid suit strictly in accordance with law expeditiously unless there is no legal impediment.
