¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below to decide the Special Case No.582 of 2022 (State of U.P. Vs. Paras Yadav and others), arising out of Case Crime No.392 of 2020, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 504, 506, 452, 302, 307, 308 I.P.C., P.S. Harput, Budahat, District Gorakhpur, pending in the court of Special Judge PC 1st Gorakhpur.

¶3Counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is informant and in proceedings charges have been framed against the accused persons. P.W. 1 has been examined and examination of P.W. 2 is on progress but accused are trying to delay the proceedings and the case is pending before the trial court since 2022.

¶4Considering the aforesaid facts, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
