¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the respondent and learned Standing Counsel and perused the record.

¶2The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned fisheries lease granted to the respondent no. 5 on dated 04.09.2023 over Arazi No. 151/1.1193 hectare (recorded as "Pond") in the revenue records situated in Village-Badagaon, Tehsil-Shahganj, District-Jaunpur. "ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to declare the petitioner as highest bidder as she made a bid of Rs. 87,000/- for grant of fisheries lease."

¶3Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection that against the order granting patta, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, he can file an appeal under Rule 59 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

¶4Since the petitioner has an alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain the instant petition.
