¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2This is an application for cancellation of bail.

¶3The opposite party no. 2 was granted bail by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kanpur Dehat vide order dated 31.03.2022.

¶4Arguments have been advanced against the order granting bail. It appears that the instant application is essentially an application for re-hearing or review of the order granting bail. This Court is neither sitting in appeal nor in review jurisdiction.

¶5No case for bail cancellation is made out. However, in case any instance of threatening or influencing the witnesses is brought to the notice of the learned trial court, the learned trial court shall take appropriate measure under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.
