¶1The petitioners allege that the respondents have taken possession of their land comprising of Plot No.1048 area 0.0780 hectare, Plot No.1040 area 0.0300 hectare, Plot No.1046M area

0.0150 hectare and Plot No.597 area 0.0200 hectare, Village Unchdih, Tehsil Machhalishahar, District Jaunpur without any formal acquisition and payment of compensation.

¶2Sri Rajeev Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the claim of the petitioners has to be examined by District Level Committee in terms of Government Order dated

12.05.2016.

¶3Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh representation alongwith true attested copy of the instant order before respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 will transmit the representation to the Committee for being decided in accordance with law after due notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also after carrying out survey of the land in dispute, within a period of twelve weeks from the date the representation is received by the Committee.
