¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed with a prayer to direct the Additional District Judge (POCSO Act), Deoria to expedite and decide the Sessions Trial No.294 of 2022 (State Vs. Ranjeet Yadav @ Krishna Yadav), arising out of Case Crime No.538 of 2021, under Sections 366, 376, 504 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali, District Deoria within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that applicant is the informant in the instant case and charges against the accused persons were framed on 16.11.2022, however, despite lapse of about a year, the trial of the case has not yet been concluded and has been lingering on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of the above, learned Additional District Judge (POCSO Act), Deoria is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
