¶1Heard Sri Ayub Khan, learned counsel for petitioners and Sri S.K.Rai, learned Standing Counsel.

¶2In pursuance of an order passed by this Court on 27.3.2023, learned Standing has received written instructions that proceedings for demarcation in respect of chaks allotted in the concerned village are under progress and due to certain law and order situation there is a delay and all necessary steps shall be taken to expedite the procedure for demarcation and it would be completed before August, 2024.

¶3In the aforesaid circumstances, considering the solemn statement given by learned Standing Counsel on basis of written instructions received this writ petition is disposed of with the direction/observation that respondent authority will take all endeavour to demarcate the chaks allotted in the concerned village in consolidation proceedings within the aforesaid period.
