¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A.

¶2The writ petition seeks quashing of the F.I.R. dated 7.8.2023 giving rise to Case Crime No.634 of 2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C., Police Station-Kotwali Orai, District-Jalaun.

¶3The contention of learned counsel for petitioner is that petitioner has no role to play in the matter. He is an advocate and he took sureties for the co-accused during the initial days of his practice and on account of inexperience.

¶4In our considered opinion, inexperience or ignorance about the law is no defence.

¶5Under these circumstances the allegation contained in the first information report constitute a cognizable offence. Therefore, first information report cannot be quashed.
