Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that after the petitioner had got his connection permanently disconnected on 23.3.2017, the recovery certificate could not be sent by the Electricity Department vide communication dated 20.1.2022. With regard to the action of the Electricity Department, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has represented on 12.3.2023. When no action was taken, it has been submitted that on 13.9.2023 a reminder was also sent. Learned counsel for the Electricity Department Sri Chandra Shekhar Singh submits that he would get the representation decided by the Executive Engineer within a reasonable time. Under such circumstances, we provide that the representation filed by the petitioner on 12.3.2023 which was followed by another representation dated 13.9.2023 be decided expeditiously within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. For a period of one month or till the decision is taken on the representation filed by the petitioner, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken by the Electricity Department.
