¶1Short counter affidavit along with Vakalatnama filed today by Sri Ajay Kumar Yadav, on behalf of respondent no.4. Taken on record.

¶2Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Ajay Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for respondent no.4 and learned AGA for the State.

¶3This writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the first information report dated 17.09.2023 in Case Crime No.353 of 2023, under Sections-498-A, 377, 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section-3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station-Trans Yamuna, District-Agra.

¶4Contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the parties have settled their differences outside the court and have entered into a compromise which has been reduced in writing. The parties may produce the alleged compromise before the Investigating Officer, who shall examine the same and thereafter proceed strictly in accordance with law.
