¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

¶2The applicant has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to direct the court below, Additional Civil Judge, Junior Division 4th, Jaunpur to decide the Criminal case no. 913 of 2012, State of U.P. Vs. Ram Prasad and others, pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge, Junior Division 4th, Jaunpur arising out of case crime No. 37 of 1997, u/s 323, 504, 325, 506 I.P.C., P.S. Jafrabad, District Jaunpur, within the stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is the first informant in the instant case and the charge against the accused person has already been framed on 19.10.2001, however, the trial has not yet been concluded and progressing at a snail pace and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of above, the trial court is expected to make all endeavour to conclude the trial of the aforesaid case expeditiously preferably within a period of four months after giving opportunity of hearing to both the sides and without giving unnecessary adjournments to either side, if there is no other legal impediment in concluding the trial.
