The grievance of the petitioners in the present petition is that Rajeev Kumar, Station House Officer, Police Station Khajuriya, District Rampur is interfering in relationship of petitioner no.2 and his wife Shahnaj and taking sides in a matrimonial dispute and at the instance of Shahnaj, the respondent no. 4 is harassing the petitioners. The petitioner no.2 is the husband of the aforesaid Shahnaj. The dispute relates to the conduct of a Police Officer posted at Police Station, Khajuriya in District Rampur and therefore, the grievance of the petitioner can be considered by the Superintendent of Police, District Rampur. The petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioners make a representation before the Superintendent of Police, District Rampur bringing all the necessary facts to his notice, the Superintendent of Police, Rampur shall decide the same within a period of one month from the date of filing the representation and shall take appropriate action depending on the decision taken by the Superintendent of Police, Rampur and shall also ensure that officers of the Police force act in accordance with law.
