¶1By means of this writ petition, petitioners have prayed to direct the Settlement Officer of Consolidation,Maharajganj, Place-Farenda, (Respondent no.2) to finally decide the Appeal No.64 of 2023 filed under Section 11 (1) of UPCH Act (Atiraji and another Vs. Prem and others) within a stipulated period.

¶2Taking note that before Authority concerned, on various dates the Advocates have not appeared on the ground of their call for abstention from judicial work, therefore, petitioners are directed to appear themselves or through their Advocates and shall not take any adjournment on each and every date, whenever the case is listed.

¶3This writ petition is disposed of with the direction that concerned Authority shall take endeavour to decide the above referred appeal, expeditiously within a period of six months, in accordance with law if there is no legal impediment.
