¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2The petitioner in this petition is aggrieved by the order dated

28.8.2023 passed by the Additional Police Commissioner Commissionerate Agra in Case No. 617 of 2023 under Section 3 of Uttar Pradesh Control of Goondas Act, P.S. Basai Jagner, District Agra.

¶3Against the said order, petitioner has statutory alternative remedy under Section 6 of the Act of filing an appeal before Commissioner, concerned.

¶4The writ petition is therefore dismissed on the ground of availability of a statutory alternative remedy which the petitioner may, in case so advised, avail for redressal of his grievance. Order Date :- 6.11.2023 SY High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
