¶1Heard Sri Dheeraj Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Jai Bahadur Singh, learned counsel for the respondent and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has retired on 31.08.2022 from the Nagar Palika Parishad concerned but his post retirement dues have not been paid.

¶3In reply to the above, learned counsel for the respondents submits that uptil now Rs.5 Crores has already been disbursed towards the post retirement dues of the employees. Since the Nagar Palika Parisha is facing financial crisis, therefore, some respite may be given for two months to clear the dues of the petitioner.

¶4In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondents to clear the entire outstanding post retirement dues of the petitioner within the next three months' time failing which the petitioner shall be entitled to the interest of 8% over and above such delayed payment had become due till the actual payment is made.
