¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ambrish Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The present writ petition is preferred for a direction commanding the respondents to consider the claim of petitioner and to release the amount of Rs.19,61,362/- in favour of the petitioner as the same is due as per Demand Notice dated

18.03.2023 which was forwarded for payment by the Block Development Officer, Block Belahari, District Ballia under the scheme of "Govansh Ashray Sthal."

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the entire claim has been set up in the light of the government order dated 28.01.2019 and in spite of the recommendation by the Block Development Officer, till date no payment has been made to the petitioner. The petitioner is running a cow-shelter.

¶4Sri Ambrish Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing cousnel states that the claim of the petitioner is under process and appropriate order shall be passed in view of the government order dated 28.01.2019.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting on merits of the case, we dispose of the writ petition directing the respondent No.5, i.e. Chief Veterinary Officer, District Ballia to take a final call in the matter. Needless to say, in case the claim of the petitioner is admittedly admitted, the respondents must ensure that payment is made to the petitioner within six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
