¶1During course of the argument, learned counsel for the petitioners has confined his relief to the effect that a direction may be issued to respondent no.3 to decide the pending application of the petitioners seeking correction of the land record.

¶2Learned State counsel has no objection to the aforesaid proposition.

¶3Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, respondent no.3 is directed to decide the pending application of the petitioners strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
