¶1Heard Sri Dinesh Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶2This petition has been filed praying only for a direction to the court concerned to decide the application under section 125 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner expeditiously within a stipulated time.

¶3Perusal of the papers disclose that the petitioner/applicant filed case no. 495 of 2020 under section 125 Cr.P.C. and the same is pending since 15.10.2020. Perusal of the ordersheet reveals that the case is yet at preliminary stages. In my view, any delay in disposal of cases of such nature will frustrate the very purpose of filing of an application under the above provision of law.

¶4The court concerned is directed to expedite the hearing in the matter and decide the same, preferably within 6 months of production of certified copy of this order, provided the petitioner fully cooperates with the court.
