¶1This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for a direction that the temporary injunction application numbered as 7-C filed in suit being Original Suit No.561 of 2023 (Lav Prakash vs. Arvind), which has been filed for granted of a permanent injunction, be decided expedited.

¶2It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that if the property in question is not protected during the pendency of the suit then a great prejudice would be caused to the plaintiff-petitioner. He further submits that the defendants have put in appearance.

¶3Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case and without issuing notices to the opposite parties, a direction is being issued that the application for temporary injunction (7-C) filed along with Original Suit No.561 of 2023 be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. For a period of two months or till the disposal of the application for temporary injunction, whichever is earlier, status-quo as of today shall be maintained. It may be noted that adjournment shall be granted only under very pressing circumstances and after imposing a cost of Rs.2000/- on the party seeking adjournment.
