¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the second respondent to decide the application dated 30.08.2023 filed by the petitioner for payment of compensation in light of the award dated 26.02.2015 in land acquisition reference no.35 of 2012, under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

¶2While making reference under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, the compensation amount is deposited before the Court, therefore, the application has to be filed before the Court for release of the money.
