Despite service of notice, no one has appeared on behalf of the applicant. The present transfer application has been filed to transfer the Criminal Case No. 3908 of 2019 (State Vs. Imran Ahmad) arising out of Case Crime No. 260 of 2018, under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 307, 354, 325 of I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Etah to any court of District Judgeship Jhansi. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is husband of opposite party no. 2 and accused in the above noted case. It is further submitted that the maternal uncle of the opposite party no. 2 namely Hamid Ali, who is having political influence and muscle person, is threatening the applicant with dire consequences. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the present transfer application has no merit and deserves to be dismissed. The present transfer application is dismissed accordingly.
