¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus restraining the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners from Khasra No. 751, Village Baral Partapur, Tehsil Sadar, District Meerut till disposal of the application dated

26.7.2023.

¶2Part of Khasra No. 751 was acquired under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. An award for the acquired land was made on 16.6.2023. The petitioner has filed an application on 26.7.2023 requesting the respondents to acquire his entire land as no access to the remaining land is left after acquisition of part of Khasra No. 751.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioners at the time of making oral submissions, submits that the petitioners would feel satisfied in case a direction is issued to the respondents to consider their representation dated 26.7.2023, having regard to the difficulty being faced by the petitioners on account of there being no access to the remaining land.

¶4Sri Rajeev Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, has no objection to the same.

¶5Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3 to consider the representation dated 26.7.2023 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation.
