Petitioner, who is seeking a direction for promotion from Junior scale to senior scale in the department of Sainik Kalyan evam Punarvas Karyalay, Government of U.P., Lucknow, claims to have been discriminated against in the matter of consideration for such promotion ignoring his seniority, whereas according to him as per service rules seniority should have been reckoned with. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner has already represented the matter before the authority concerned on 1st May, 2023 but the same has remained pending till date. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event petitioner's claim is directed to be disposed of by the Director of department concerned in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 3 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation dated 1st May, 2023 and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
