¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Case No.3900 of 2021 arising out of Case Crime No.09 of 2021 (State vs. Anubhav Gangwar and others), under Sections 498A, 506 I.P.C. & 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station-Ait, District-Jalaun, pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalaun.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is informant and initiated proceeding under aforesaid sections against the opposite party nos.2 to 4. More than 28 months have been passed but no charge has been framed. Applicant is regularly appearing on the date fixed and has not seek any adjournment. Trial court has not taken any coercive measure to compel the opposite party nos. 2 to 4 to participate in the proceeding and framed charge against them.

¶4Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2021, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to frame charge within five months and decide the proceeding in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties.
