The petitioner is working as Assistant Develoopment OfÏcer in the department of Panchayat, Government of U.P. is aggrieved for not being paid arrears of salary on account of fixation done which has become due since July, 2023 and also for non consideration of pending application for withdrawal of Rs. 5 lacs from his own GPF account. Learned Standing Counsel has drawn attention of the Court to the order dated 25th August, 2023 written by Deputy Director (Panchayat), Meerut Division Meerut to District Panchayat Raj OfÏcer, Meerut to do the needful in the matter by submitting report at the earliest, however, nothing further has transpired in the matter. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection if petitioner's request is directed to be considered by the competent authority, namely, District Panchayat Raj OfÏcer in accordance with law. In view of above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to District Panchayat Raj OfÏcer to look into and consider the grievance raised by the petitioner for payment of arrears of salary as per pay fixation and withdrawal of 5 lacs Rs. from his own GPF account as well as annual increment by means of reasoned and speaking order within a period of one month from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
