¶1Heard Shri Vibhu Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Akanksha Sharma, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is that his application for sanction of map bearing Case No. 455/2020-21 (Subhashni Srivastava versus State) under Section 6 of the Uttar Pradesh (Regulations of Building Operations) Act, 1958 is pending consideration and purpose of filing this writ petition would be served if directions are issued to the respondent No. 2 to decide the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

¶3Smt. Akanksha Sharma, learned Standing Counsel submits that the application of the petitioner shall be decided within the time allowed by this Court.

¶4We are also of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending and it is, accordingly, disposed of by requiring the respondent No. 2, seized with the Case No. 455/2020-21 (Subhashni Srivastava versus State) under Section 6 of the Uttar Pradesh (Regulations of Building Operations) Act, 1958, to consider all aspects of the matter and pass appropriate orders expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of the order of this Court.
