Notice issued under the U.P. Control of Goondas Act against the petitioner on 10.10.2023 which is challenged in the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are only two cases referred in the notice. In one of the case he has been granted Anticipatory Bail and the other case, final report has been filed. Learned AGA on the other hand points out that the petitioner has criminal history of ten cases. Be that as it may, we permit the petitioner to respond to the notice by furnishing all materials in support of his defence. The concerned authorities shall examine the reply of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order thereupon. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 8.11.2023 C.
