This writ petition is filed, seeking following relief :- "It is, therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow this application and issue an ad interim mandamus directing the court below, Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Ballia District Ballia (respondent no. 2) to decide the stay application filed in appeal no. 1140 on 23.9.2023 in the Court of Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Ballia District Ballia (Virendra Singh and another Vs. Nathuni Prasad and others) under section 11(1) of U.P. Consolidation of Holding Act pending before him expeditiously if possible within stipulated period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. And /or pass any suitable order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case." Learned counsel for petitioner is not present, however, considering the aforesaid prayer, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction/observation to decide the aforesaid appeal including stay application, expeditiously, if there is no legal impediment, in accordance with law after hearing the parties.
