¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Birendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 15.3.1986 passed by Addl. Sessions Judge, Mirzapur in S.T. No.1 of 1986.

¶3As per the office report dated 12.10.2023, a report of C.J.M., Mirzapur dated 20.1.2023 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Shiv Dhari has died earlie. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
